BNSF’s Logistics Park Kansas City is a 2,352-acre master-planned logistics complex anchored by a BNSF intermodal terminal, surrounded by major distribution tenants including Amazon, Target, and Walmart. BNSF LPKC accepts the widest range of steamship line containers of any KC facility and is the only ramp open 24/7.

Due to BNSF LPKC’s distance from the Kansas City urban core, shippers often pay an additional drayage surcharge versus in-city ramps. Chassis are not always available on-site. Mark-It Express provides company-owned chassis, eliminating the equipment uncertainty common at this location.

Union Pacific’s Kansas City Intermodal Terminal is UP’s 31st intermodal facility nationally, located on existing Armourdale Yard property. The terminal handles both domestic and international containerized shipments with a focus on grains, consumer goods, refrigerated products, and auto parts.

Norfolk Southern’s Voltz Yard opened in 1994 and serves as the primary Kansas City discharge point for cargo arriving from Port Newark (New York/NJ). The facility is positioned north of downtown Kansas City, well-suited for northern Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska delivery.

No chassis available on-site at NS Voltz Yard. Every load requires a pre-positioned bare chassis. This is where Mark-It Express’s company-owned chassis fleet provides a critical operational advantage over carriers relying on grey pool equipment.
