Originally from Chicago, Marc Otroszko began his career in public service as a firefighter and paramedic in the suburbs of Chicago, later relocating to Kansas City, where he rose to the rank of lieutenant. After two decades in Fire/EMS, Marc retired and transitioned to transportation, bringing his calm under pressure and operational focus to the logistics world.

Marc joined Mark-It Express in 2017 as a dispatcher in the Kansas City terminal and quickly rose through the ranks—first as terminal manager, then director of operations over Kansas City and Detroit, and now overseeing all terminals nationwide.

His leadership is built on real-world experience, teamwork, and consistency—values carried from the firehouse to the freight yard.

Marc lives in the Kansas City area with his wife, Anne. Married since 2002, they have two children—Tyler and Kaitlyn—both pursuing engineering degrees and athletic passions. The family shares their home with three cats and plenty of laughter.
